Here's my suspicion:  If you are familiar with the war2 contracting effort, one thing you did NOT do was stop buying things without concrete orders from above.  Way above.  In '44, the war was just beginning to look won, but old contract orders were still being renewed without question.  So, the direct answer to your question is: "Probably nothing.", but whatever the last servicable gear using the 01A may not yet have been actuarially retired, even though they were practically retired, if you get my drift.
