Here's a neat one - sub 6A3s for VT52s in AM modulator.  Won't affect
the soundstage (such b-s).  Do need 1.5 ohm in series w. each & trick 
only good on BC230 14V version.  This ain't my idea but I can't credit it

We've got 2 fair ones on air here.  Key B+ thru rly.  Key up, bleeder R in 
ckt., key down - the '230.  Mechanical regulator that's crude & completely
effective.  Doesn't rape MCW stuff either.

And on 80CW, hard to tell it fm an IC703

FB on '183 in captured acft!

Now comes the big one.  GE's BC-307.  P/o a SCR that used the BC-189.

rarified install & acft, I'd say
