Yes, there is a "portable" (which does not imply backpack) configuration of the RT-66/67/68, using:

RT-66, 67, 68/GRC,
MT-652/GR antenna mount (on lip of RT unit) plus appropriate mast sections,
CY-590/GRC dry cell battery box for receiver (7.5 vdc, 90 vdc),
G-8/GRC hand crank generator for transmitter
CX-1209/U cable from G-8 to CY-590
CX-1210/U cable from CY-590 to RT unit.

Or, the CY-590 and CX-1209 can be omitted and the G-8 used to supply all voltages.

The weight and bulk of all this are in the "creampuff" realm, compared to a later "portable" set called the AN/PRC-47.
