I think I know of two, maybe three, people who've said over the years that
they have one or the other supplies. Courtesy of a list member, I have about
98% of the TCZ-1 and TCZ-2 Instruction Book available as a reprint. Difference
between these two is only which supply was furnished (which depended upon how
old the ship was that it was bought for). Components are almost all the same
(except as far as I can tell the antenna loading coil assembly) as in the TCZ.
Except that only one supply was furnished. In typical Navy fashion, new
contracts, new model numbers.
The DC supply has two large dynamotors. The AC one has a
transformer-rectifier supply for HV (as Dennis said) and a motor-generator for LV. Both are
large/heavy. Definitely boatanchors. The IB does not list serial number ranges
so no data as to how many might have been produced.
