Geezze. I have never heard so many moans about sticking stuff in boxes. All this fuss about having to buy boxes and buy foam or bubble or such.
I buy nothing for packing except a roll of strong tape. All the boxes, bubble, poly foam etc come from the supermarkets and shops free, they have millions of it every day. Go around to the rear goods in entrance and they are free (at least they are here !) Any shopping centre (mall) will get through tons of cardboard each day, all thrown away.
Now we'll have those who have no time ! why, do you have to work 25 hours a day? no time ? There must be free time somewhere in your busy day else how can you play radio, when do you operate, repair, visit rallies, go to the john. We all go shopping, but, I guess if you have no time then you don't eat either, else have the shopping home delivered, but if you do shop, call into the goods in department and ask for a box and packing at the same time.
As for getting a cost, its all on the web, weight wise use the bathroom scales and add a kilo for good luck, it works here.
That way, the poor old buyer gets his bit of plinkaty plonk and pays just for the postage, which even I have no control over.
I know how hard it is to earn money so I try my hardest to help others in keeping this hobbies costs down.
cherrio, Ben.
