[Milsurplus] E-bay farce

Mac and Dave,
I concur. I have a very nice RT-12/TRC-2 (and as stated in periodic pleas,
am still looking for other components of this 21-man crew served set). Came
from an eBay seller who could barely spell "radio". Up until about 10 years
ago, if it had gone to a hamfest and not sold, it would have been in the dumpster
after the person who brought it left it in the grass for the clean-up crew
and went home to his rice burner station. And if the person I bought it from
hadn't had eBay as an outlet, it would just have gone out front on heavy trash
day.
And begging Ralph's pardon for a moment, neither eBay nor PayPal favor
sellers. eBay doesn't favor anyone (except themselves). PayPal officially favors
buyers about 70-30. David quotes 1000+ transactions. I can quote 8000+.
