[Milsurplus] bc-348 part needed

hi group,
           has anybody got the bracket that holds the variable resistor 
in place on the tuning gang? if one isn't available could some one make 
up a set of mechanical drawings for the bracket so that i could make one 
myself ,and email the scans of thr drawings. on my bc-348-m i've managed 
to obtaim the avc-off-mvc switch and fitted same according to the wiring 
diagram in the manaul [t.o. 08-10-119] .the avc part isn't functional 
yet .... might have to check the rest of the wiring for modifications. 
can anybody give me any pointers / advice on how to find the problem 
with the avc circuit. thanks group for any kind assistance
