Ah, yes, a pretty beat and hacked Navy MBF. Operated originally in the
70 MHz region, AM. This was a series-heater transformerless design.
Small boats, i think, and maybe general back-up use in larger ships for
the main 70 MHz (region) TBS set. Somebody VFO'd the receiver, 
apparently - vernier dial to the left. I'd ONLY try to power it up with
an isolation transformer. Was maybe 5 watts power. -Hue
