I recently acquired a NF-2 Flood Light Set, it was U.S. Air Force and is
made up of a small shelter on 4 ten inch wheels with a wagon tounge designed
for a pintle hitch. The top has a platform which is mounted on a large
scissor jack arrangement and can be cranked up about 10 feet. On this
platform is mounting and electrical connection for two huge mercury vapor
lamps. Inside the shelter which is accesible from three sides is a 2500
watt generator, gas tank, ballast for lamps and the lamps themselves are
mounted for storage or traveling. On the front is a control panel which has
volt and ammeters, start switch, choke, transfer switch and a input for
external ac for the lamps if it should be available. It has 24 volt
batteries for starting the generator.
Is anyone familiar with this set? Is there a source for manuals for the
complete system, the generator, the gasoline engine? If so I would
appreciate information on such a source.
