Is there any way to remove the carrying straps from these things without 
cutting the webbing?   The adjustment buckles and snap clips on the ends of the 
straps are both too wide to fit through the pair of metal case attachment rings 
the straps loop through.   Would appear the snap clip strap ends were stitched 
closed AFTER the straps were threaded through attachment rings.   Anyone know 
more?

Been into several of these sets lately.   Bitchey things to work on.
