[Milsurplus] Radio movies

Not that they used it in the movie, but did anyone ever notice the ART-13 in
"The Flight of the Phoenix"? Or that there was no antenna wire hooked to
the BC-442 in "Memphis Belle", and not to get away from warbirds, but in
"The Battle of the Bulge", Telly Savalas has a BC-603 and -604 in his
Sherman, yet in the next scene it has mysteriously been replaced with what I
recall as a British receiver. Oh well, the German tanks all had T-17's as
well. And in "The Battle of Midway", the headphones all had PL-55's plugged
into the JK-26's. By the way, does anyone else's XYL look at them with that
"have you completely lost it this time?" look when things like that are
pointed out during a movie? For her sake, I'll try to remain quiet next
time... :-)
