Good catch - confirmed my suspicions about the frequency range:

RECEIVER USED W/ RE9175b
300 OHM IMPEDANCE, FLAT FROM 100-6800
CPS. OVERALL DIAMETER 2 1/32". THICKNESS 1".
14 OHMS dc RESISTANCE

8/23/43 CQF: PDR-8 USED W/ re-9175
DEC. 44 EXTENDED RANGE.

As an aside, CQF: PDR-8 is what's inscribed on my ARR-3 phones - no 5
digit Navy number, though. Looks like the first hi-fi phones!

Also listed is the associated headset assembly, 49455, used w/ RE-9175B,
JM, and JR.
CONSISTS OF TWO RECEIVERS 49456, ONE
HEADBAND 49453-A, TWO EAR CUSHIONS 49104B,
ONE CORD -49012C, AND ONE PLUG 49034A.

This can easily get into a scavenger hunt with no end... :-)

Not what the one I have on the web page says - it shows a 49017 cord.
Makes more sense, too.
