Which has to be just one more reason that operational security "over the 
air" was so incredibly bad during the Vietnam war. James Bamford in this 
book "Body of Secrets" talks about the near total absence of 
communications security during the war and how the  NVA were not given 
credit in being able to take advantage of it, which of course they did.
