[Milsurplus] Night Vision / R-1155 for trade

Thought I would list a couple items that I may be putting up on "that
place" here first, the main motive for selling them is to generate funds
for the Paypal account so I can buy a TV-7 tube tester, already have a
Hickok 600 but now feel life wont be complete without a TV-7, so if
there is any interest in either or both these items please contact me
off list and maybe we can do a swap. First item up for trade is a
generation 0 night vision system, it's a navy type US/C-3 with carrying
case that I bought off ebay about a month ago. Had to clean the contacts
on the HV generator and now it is working. It will allow you to view IR
devices but has no amplification beyond that, it is now a working unit
and in good condition for being about sixty years old. I know the brits
will disagree about being first but I would speculate that this is the
first widely deployed night vision system, or at least IR vision system.
Second item up for trade is a R-1155 receiver; this radio was hacked
when I received it with all the ADF stuff removed. So I installed a AC
power supply and changed all the capacitors that were bad and had it
around of a example of a good ham converted R-1155 If you are interested
in doing a trade or some other deal please contact me off list and we
