Yes. And the only real difference between the 5, 6 and 7 is the 
antenna/ground connector.

I have two 6s and two 7s here. I sold a 6 that came off the USS Pintado 
to a friend in Tennessee which he uses on the air regularly.

You are exactly right: that flat piece IS the other half of the bracket. 
Further, the power supply has the same flat piece for its bracket.

I have installed and used RAK and RAL since 1957 or so, some of them 
NIB, and any that had the complete bracket, had that flat piece as the 
other half.

Further, the complete RAK/RAL manual SHOWS that piece in one or 
more of the photos of the complete setup.
