Be a bit real. That group (which I'd never heard of before this post) is hardly
a new splinter. It was founded about 6 years ago, has been averaging 100
messages per month since, and has roughly 850 members (about 2/3 of ArmyRadios).

AFAIK no stats are available for QTH groups. I have no dog in this fight, but a
quick check of the last few messages shows interests pretty much orthogonal to
this group.
