I wouldn't worry about the epoxy outgassing, as long as you use good quality
epoxy.. I would not, however use 5 minute epoxy, I would use masterbond or
equal. epoxy does not out gas much, it is by definition a stiochiomertric
reaction. I use it regularly in high vacuum applications. (we seal
prototype vacuum displays with it)
