Interesting stuff, Breck - 

Someone wrote a book a few years back about the overflight and other
intelligence gathering missions against the commies, paying particular
attention to flights lost and why. Anyone remember the name? It's a
fairly long title, as I recall. Wonder if it has any RS-6 references?
