Hi Folks,

A friend of mine just got this ManPack Radio. It is a Racal PRM 4021. A
2-16 MHZ
transceiver, am/cw/ssb, 12 w output, with built-in manual ant tuner/meter.
approx 8 lbs, 3" high and about 9 in square. -solid state,
approx 10 to 15 vdc input, probably made in the 1980's ...
Some more info that might jog someones menory is;

 Apparently, made in England, probably
Racal-Thales...Fittings all metric. I've repaired and made nice adapters for
the cables... 5 rotary switches set the frequency, the first one goes 2 to
15 MHz, so you can do 14.006.7 etc and it's very accurate. Internal,
manually operated antenna tuner/ roller inductor wound with gold-plated
material, with clever SWR indicator leds plus analog meter... freq dials are
back-lit with a strip of something radioactive. Approx 125 mA on receive,
and a little over 4 A on high-power transmit.

Any Help or info about this radio would be great! Schematics and service
and/or operators
 instructions or Web Site Info would be very much appreciated.
Thanks for your Time
Mike W7NPA
