Greetings,
I am trying to get a reasonable price for some surplus equipment for an
estate. What I am looking for is what the estate could reasonably expect to get for
the equipment. I have some pictures of the first item described which I can
supply on request. The remaining items I would have to get some shots of.
Here is the list:
There is a 3 piece transceiver type unit that I have never seen before. It
is housed in 3 identical suitcases and inside of them is a water resistant
container that gets closed via several screws. The nomenclature is MBM and it
consists of a transmitter - receiver CAPI 43066, a power supply with built in
rechargable wet cells CAPI 20370 and a hand crank generator which I did not see a
nomenclature on. There is also a steel box full of operational spares. The rig
appears to be new. It covers 4 to 14 Mhz. Do you have any idea what it is
and what it might be worth? I have pictures if you want to see them.
There is a box full of about 12 command receiver dynamotors.
There is also what appears to me a nearly complete airborne television system
built around the PH-522/AXT-2 and includes a T-61/AXT-2 transmitter, a
monitor or receiver CFN 52 ACB of ATK, an R-68/AXR-1 receiver and 2 non descript
monitors. The camera is there also. It appears to have had the power connector
modified to an octal. Someone was looking for this stuff awhile back, but I
can't remember where I saw it. There are no cables for these units.
There is an antenna relay BC-442-AM. Remember those? It appears new. I also
saw a command transmitter with tubes and cover missing. This was a black navy
job.
There are several teletype printers and a real honest to gosh unopened case
of teletype paper!
If anyone who has knowledge of these items has any idea of fair market value,
please get in touch. w4awm at aol.com
73 and thanks,
John, W4AWM
