[Milsurplus] Meters -- R-390 A

  Group...has anyone done the hard work on using a 2 mA meter movement
in lieu of the 1 mA  meter in the R-390A. signal  strength department?
Hard work implies reassessing the bridge/agc components and  getting a
meaningful  showing on the  meter
Meter from the 180  L2 antenna  coupler are the right size, can be
dismantled and a new scale printed but are 2 mA.

 Any info appreciated .
