If you want to 'pump up' the selling price of military gear, use the right buzz
words. Here are some:
Paratrooper
Airborne
Marine
Avenger or TBM
Lancaster
Spitfire
There are more, but you get the idea. There are Wall Street and Hollywood types
that think it's chic to decorate their offices with the stuff. (A couple of
years ago, I saw a malpractice lawyer pay several hundred dollars for a ceramic
bedpan to decorate her office... go figure)
A few weeks ago, an ASB-5 radar test set went for MANY hundreds. I know of only
two people who actually collect the radar itself.
