I forgot to metion:
NORTEX ELECTRONIC CO.
Surplus Electronics Equipment, Accessories, and Parts
5156 Vickery Loop East, Fort Worth, Texas 76116
(817)731-6611, Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00-5:30 CST
Lewis E. Cearly, proprietor

It is a big-time haunt of old parts and equipment, and also
haunted by not a few old farts from time to time.. I would
reccommend it on any BA haunting trip, especially if you are
looking for some of the items not easily found any more. I think
it is the last of the great clasical American surplus stores.
They have 1-1-1 trichlor in GC-branded bottles right now (freshly
unearthed from the warehouse) if you are in need of something to
clean controls with. Can't get that stuff anymore.
Lewis is a WWII veteran and can tell quite a few stories. At
least see the website and/or give him a call to see if you want
to stop by on your travels.
