The variants aren't nearly as common at the standard 3-6 set. The transmitter
uses the equivalent of one or 2 807's ( can't recall right now ) screen modulated.
These facts, mine and yours, clearly don't support the statements in the Army
article. The historical information and claims in that article are a good part bogus,
but i did find the technical material very interesting. -Hue
