Robert,
In a way I agree with you - but I didn't exactly pay nothing for the TBX-8.
I got it on eBay a few years ago for about what the vibrator power supply is
up to now.
I'm rationalizing about this because I'm not in the position now to really
go with that auction where it's heading...
I have a few irons (so to speak) in the fire, like shipping a 1950's British
Navy transmitter with the power supply to the US, to go with the matching
receiver I already have. I just can't afford that TBX power supply now...
I'd have probably gone all the way with the auction if I could afford it but
at least all the bidders now have less competition, as I'm out...
