Does the top mounted antenna relay conduct mechanical disturbance down to 
the ECO section on bottom?   It is a HUGE relay...

The TCS sets exhibit this phenomenon, but it doesn't show up as a 
chirp.  It shows up as slight FM modulation of the osc, which gives the 
"make" an authoritative "clang" sound.  Not displeasing, but definitely a 
"TCS signature."   :-)
