This brings back one of the few remaining memories from the mid 70's that 
was not damaged by a wild lifestyle (read stupid teenager).   I had the 
fear of God, instilled in me by the electronics teacher, who was the 
station manager at WIQH 88.3FM a whopping 10,000 milliwatt powerhouse, 
about even touching the envelope with the EBS monitor.  Next to girls, and 
chemical abuse, this was #3 in the secret wonders of my world.  I wonder 
if I could find one of these on the E-place and open it up!  I had always 
thought I would have been greeted by a drawing of "Tommy the Turtle" from 
the movies I saw in elementary school, with instructions for me to "duck 
and cover".

Also to those wondering, I haven't forgot about the 12AX7's.  Its been 
busy around the homestead as we have all shared some nasty illness my 
oldest son brought back from school.  I'll dig them up soon.
