[Milsurplus] Help rewiring TRC-77

Got a TRC-77 off Ebay not too long ago, the former
owner had removed the U-229 headphone jack and in its
place put a standard headphone jack, like is used on
commercial stereo equipment.  I took that jack off,
and put the -229 connector back on, but don't know
what wires should attach to which contacts on the
bottom end of the -229 plug.  I have a schematic from
the TRC-77 maintenance manual, but it doesn't seem to
say the correct wiring pattern for what I am doing
(only mention in the schematic is "To Phones", but not
which contacts to connect to).   Any help is
appreciated.
