FYI
Here is have an ARC-38A tray adapter for a 618T. It allows the use of a
618T on an aircraft wired for the ARC-38A.

In my last post I speculated that, for the radios installed, this aircraft
had likely been in USN service. I hadn't noticed your use of "WV 121"
rather than "C-121."
The USN version of the C-121 was the "WV" in "early warning" configuration,
and the "R7V" in cargo/passenger configuration (until aircraft nomenclatures
were standardized between services in the early 1960s). The aircraft was
most likely a WV-2 or WV-3. That explains exactly the radio gear found on
it, including the AN/ARR-41 that undoubtedly was left behind from an earlier
AN/ARC-38A that had been replaced with an AN/ARC-94.
