IIRC, we had signal mirrors in the seat pack
of the B-52 ejections seats.  I don't know
about WW II.

One big problem I saw was where they put
the brush pile.  It should have been out in
the open more.  Even wife spotted that one!

These days, take all the AOL disks you get
in the mail and use them for that purpose!!

Went out and bought Island in the Sky last night. Great movie
and the technical nit picks did not take away any from the
enjoyment.

One of the things I wondered about, were signalling mirrors issued
in early WWII? It seems to me in the scene where the searching
aircraft flew over, but did not see the downed crew, would have
been a perfect place for them.
