Electric skillets  WERE  carried on BUFFs during
airborne alert missions (24 hours plus).  We
cooked steaks in addition to the normal
boxed flight meals.

Coffee-makers were standard on almost
all flights.

I wonder if SAC had Hot plates in the BFUF's to determine the altitude by 
the EWO's. If so when they got it to boil they could have hot tea or coffee.

We had brooms F/A to bring it to us on the flight deck.
