I have nothing against Al, but-
well, if $12,500 is his "final offer," he might as well call
for the dumpster trucks and scrap dealers,
because he's not going to get it.
If I had an 18-wheeler to haul it, a thousand bucks for gas,
another couple of thousand to pay a loading and unloading crew
and a warehouse to store it all,
I might give him 40% of that at the very most.
After all- Hauling, storage, inventory and distribution ain't free.
I'd be forced to pay per diem taxes on the stuff,
and I'd be the one risking my capital investing in
slow moving products (and a large precentage of "dead stock"),
demand for which is falling every year.
I'm sorry, Al, but I think $4-5,000 would
be a generous offer to take all that headache off your hands.
Just one man's opinion, of course.
