[Milsurplus] Operating BC-1000 & PRC-25 together

You can turn down the TX deviation, but the wideband set, with 
its wide IF and discriminator, will have less apparent 
sensitivity to the signals of the narrowband set becuse it does 
not deviate as much.

What are the problems with operating this mix of equipment?
I "believe" turning down the deviation from the wider-band FM on the
BC-1000 would be possible. I suppose the  WB demodulater in the
-1000 would not recover much audio from the Narrower BFM in
the PRC-25. Comment?
