[Milsurplus] surplus SINCGARS???

Perhaps it depends on the model. I've read descriptions of units where it was
mentioned that the encryption and hopping boards were removed. I can easily
imagine some units have it too integrated to remove without wreaking the rig.

One thing to be aware of is that if the government decides something shouldn't
be out there that they accidently released, they can go after it and demand it
back. They usually will not compensate you, they will just take it back. And
if you sold the item, you had better know *exactly* whom you sold it to.
Something close happened to me on an item I bought from Government Liquidation.
It was a radar test set (it looked like it would have a lot of useful parts).
I paid a couple hundred bucks for it and had to fill out a EUC (End User
Certificate) saying what I was going to do with it. I was, as always,
completely honest, saying I was going to either use it myself or disassemble it
for parts. I then had a company go to pick it up, but when they got there, DRMO
refused to release it saying they decided to recall it. When I contacted
govliquidation they told me they would not give me my money back and I had
agreed to this possibility in the terms of the sale. Fortunately, it turned out
that this had been a mistake and they did release the thing to me eventually but
you really have to watch out for those people.
