Hello All,

Thanks for the suggestions on getting the Premax antenna unjammed. I have 
not been successful yet. It may take some time.
I did learn something that I did not know.  There are several kinds of 
Premax vertical whip antennas.  The one I have is all stainless and the 
locking collars are knurled with one flat side and a small (probably 10-32) 
locking screw with a jam nut.  The collars rotate one-quarter turn to lock 
or unlock.  There is an alignment mark to indicate when the collar is 
unlocked.  There are no threads on the collars themselves that I can see.

Does anyone have one like this?
