I received this note from Al  on 4/ 11/ 05:

"DUE TO GETTING  HUNDREDS OF SPAMS I CHANGED MY EMAIL TO   vetwwtwo at ptd.net

"I found that manual so will send it as soon as i get your address

"I am again for the 3rd try by the VA to operate on my cataract   as i am
going blind   on the 22nd   so advise me  ASAP  Al "

Well, i didn't get around to his request, and i have not written to him since
then, and i now think i will wait a day or two more before i do write.
