Barry,
I've found outer jackets of military cordage from the 40's to fall into three
groups, just fine, sticky as Hue described, and stiff to rigid. The outer
jacket of the latter will invariably crack if you try to straighten the cable.
Have you ever tried the CaiKleen on a rigid one, and if so, what were the
results?
