'delta' is half a horizontal dipole w. the Boeing's fueslage as the 
ground-plane/counterpoise/EM-symmetry-surface.

Just what modeler'd expect

I 'preciate quotations fm 1942 Sandretti report.  But.  But computer
simulations now take u a long way toward convergence before you ever
have to squeeze lead off the Weller.

Now on HF horibleness on command hf.  Think system designers were after
exactly that.  Dint want to get much outa formation.  There were
some smart guys out there.
