I collect these for various reasons:
1. none I've found have been hacked - they're often in VG condx
2. they're relatively cheap, and crystals/accessories/connectors aren't too
hard too find
3. they cover a Ham band (if not popular mode) without perversion
4. they just plain look good!

I haven't observed Larry's plaint of being too broad, but then, there's
very little AM activity hereabouts - just a local airport with two
commercial flights a day, and not much else!  I've sucessfully used an
outboard audio filter on HF rigs with this problem, such as the 6kc-wide
GRC-109 rx (R-1004 , I think it is).

If anyone has any of these rigs, or parts thereto, FS cheap, I'm interested
- I don't go on ebay, as my transfer rate is too slow, and in fact, the
last time I tried, they objected to my old s/w!	e
