I really don't recall any contract number on the reel, only
some "NAF" marking. Had a robust crank arm and 
locking collar.

BTW, i gotta get back to Steve B. and ask about the source on the Owl O-52 using
the BC-224/ 307. This didn't sound right to me after i posted it; the 224-A/ 307 is 
a 1936/ 1937 radio, and the Owl i think, didn't come into play until 1941.
