[Milsurplus] ARR-2 info

Picked up a couple ARR-2 units at the Timonium hamfest yesterday.  Both 
are missing the dynamotor and one missing the cover, but all the rest 
complete.  I found very little info on this unit online, only came up 
with 234 to 258 MHz receiver, and that's all the info I found.  What 
were these used with?  Dates of manufacture and use?  What model of dynamotor was used on the ARR-2, so I can pick one up if I see it?
 
Also picked up a C-8191B/ARC control head, once again, no info online 
about it.  Any help is appreciated.
