Queen Wilhelmina Hamfest, aka Mena, AR on the other hand was quite good.
Wonderful weather, both Friday and Saturday. Not as many military radios
as in years past but some were present. There was a KWT-6 LPA and power
supply, I brought some WW2 and Korean War tactical radios but none sold.
Saw the usual collection of Hallicrafter RXs, some Swan and Drake units,
even a Drake phone patch. Didn't notice much in the line of computer
equipment, but I didn't get a chance to walk around that much since I was
set up to sell. Brought a WW1 plunger type detonator for show and tell.
Lots of fun lighting a 60 watt bulb to more then full brilliance. Buyers
and sellers are always easy going, must be the great location!
If anyone has an interest in a BC-610 with a BC-614, interconnecting
cables and several RF coils and crystal units for about $1.50 per pound,
contact me off list.
Regards,
Jim
