[Milsurplus] RM-561A O Scope

I was digging through the garage this afternoon in hopes of finding 
something useful, and I think I did.

I found an RM-561A scope that I think I can reengineer and re package to 
make a nice Modulation scope to go in the Ham Shack.

But before I start the project I wonder if anyone has done this with 
this scope and can save me some engineering time.  I want to put the RF 
directly to the vertical plates and audio to the horizontal plates 
(perhaps with some sort of amplitude control).  

I want to repackage it in a vertical chassis rather than in the rack 
mount chassis which is just too big since I wont need either of the plug 
ins or the plug in "sockets"  That should reduce the size by 2/3 rds.

Any ideas???.
