Probably, or overseas to be scrapped. While the photos are impressive (how
many square feet of stuff is there?), I would bet that a great deal of the
parts are more valuable as scrap. When I buy lots of parts and things as
surplus, a decent amount of them get scrapped, as there just isn't a huge
market for older parts these days (and even with newer parts, it can be
hard to sell them, as corporations are starting to shun surplus for
liability reasons).

Still, it would be nice to see the pile in the photos saved and gone thru,
so all the goodies are picked out. I should probably go there and check
the place out.

The those folks that might wonder, yes, I am a surplus dealer at this
point, and am always interested in small to large piles of stuff,
especially military electronics. Seeing all these old names is fun, but I
know that nearly all are long gone - some probably before I was
born! Still, if any of you comes across the remains of an old surplus
dealer - even if all the BC-348s, ARC-5, ART-13s, BC-611s, and such are
gone - please let me know. Even stuff left out in the rain or buried in
the backwoods. I do give out finders fees!
