Ed,
There were no military tags.  The Wilcox
96C got a military name later on, but
not the ones we had.  Also, the 96C was
famous for killing people.  And, we used
a lot of Wilcox operator positions, the
name excapes me, CS390 maybe, and they had no
military markings.  Our worldwide organization
used a lot of civilian off the shelf equipment
because what we were doing was very similiar to
the civilian world.  The SP-600's had no
markings, but the CV-89's and most of the test
equipment had Navy markings, some of which was
in the AN/*** series. (We were USAF.) I suppose
our fixed-plant environment was different from
field-type operations.
