Hi John,

I think I understand your plans here and I do fully agree! And whether I 
will be quoted as W. Witkop or Wammes W. does not really interest me - 
anyone in the hobby will know it's me. Or not - and I could not be 
interested less...

What does somehow bother me though is the simple fact that up to now 
it's only Northern Americans reacting. I - we? - know there's many other 
nationalities subscribed to these groups. Please, pretty please, jump 
in. Mention your local surplus places. Belgium - where are you? France? 
I *know* there's people here! Germany, same thing. As well as fellow 
Dutch. And - be very still now, I am hunting "bugs"? - Norwegians.
Lads, lassies, jump in. Or shall we just leave the Internet to the 
people in the West Countries? I am not ready to concede! Nor go to the 
Grey Havens!
