GM Larry,
Pse accept my apologies, I didn't see ur original message concerning the
"Disposal stuff", therefore I was unable to make a comment , or see what
I needed for my collection ;-)
If you would be so kind as to repost the original offering, either on
list or to me personally, I would be more than happy to look stuff over.
I am not known for refusing stuff for free with only shipping..... I
guess I am too used to the finagling on the EGreed place.

many thanks for helping out by reposting, if it isn't too much trouble,

degenerate milsurplus and boatanchor addict --hi-- It will do me good to
irritate the XYL by acquiring (to her) "more "junk" in the basement" to
which I reply "Junk???? JUNK??? Isabel, you are looking at pure,
unadulterated unobtanium of the first order, Irreplaceable stuff that
will be gone forever unless someone preserves these valuable items.. (I
then attempt to show her the calming effect of gently gloiwing filaments
in the hollow state devices, which kind of leaves her cold, but seeing
as how back in the day, I could show her around the ship, but my spaces
were strictly verboten, she really never saw the wonderful boatanchor
equipment in operation. It has only been recently, when some of the more
"sensitive/ equipment showed up on various websites that I could finally
show her the outside, at least of what was behind the locked door in the
windowless compartments in which I spent most of my time --hi--) OPNOTE,
I really don't think she understood what she was seeing, and what the
"senstive" devices did..... the only thing she knows is that the FBI,
etc and various other "Suits": showed up at neighbor's doors inquiring
about my every habit, action, friends, etc...she did finally understand
that this was for security clearance purposes, and one of the Suits was
even kind enough to explain to her (My XYL, Isabel, who has been happily
married to me for 35 years, to her eternal credit for putting up with a
milspec junkie, and who didn't make too much of a fuss to find out that
I had actually Volunteered for Vietnam duty a month after we were
married, and understood the meaning of Patriotism, Duty,,Honor, and
Country...sheesh, must have sounded pretty corny to her back in the
day--hi))just what a high clearance entailed. The neighbors, I fear,
must have thought I was Public Enemy No 1, but at least they were
suitably impressed--hi--
