Well, I guess I like all of this talk about ASBs. Neat little radar.

Sometime during the war the Navy needed little repater scopes for the ASB,
and came out with a system that soon was retagged AN/APA-1. Pretty neat to
have an ASB scope smaller that just the tube itself in the original
scopes!

The manual states that a junction box was issued to some units, for dual
scope sets. I have never seen one of these boxes. Anyone? Has anyone ever
seen evidence of any dual scope installations?

Trade note: I have ASB stuff to trade (not receivers and
antennas!) for other cool old radar stuff. I also have an extra ASC-1
scope. Inquire within.
