Nothing specific but it certainly seems possible. Many WW II radars had a PRF of
200 to 1000 Hz. The EIRP of radars is also pretty high and it could well overload
a Rx front end. That would make the radar audible. Also, I believe subs carried
radar warning Rxs, so the communication might be two way.

Years ago in a college dorm, my reel-to-reel tape recorder was going beep all the
time...  even with the tape stopped. It turned out to be the C-Band weather radar
about 1/2  mile away.
