[Milsurplus] "Milking The Controls"

Hi

There is a wonderful story about the time "Dave and Bill" came through
the HP Loveland division line and found that all the scopes on the line
were Tek scopes ("because they trigger right"). The story goes that the
result was that *alll* the Tek scopes were gone by the end of the week.

There are pretty good examples of both HP and Tek products in the
surplus channel. I'm not at all sure which one has actually passed the
test of time better. No matter who made them ( including Dumont ) the
switches seem to be a weak point. Certainly anything related to the
Tek 7000 or worse yet the 5000 series is suspect in this respect ...

	Enjoy!
